Thank you for your interest in becoming a Freebird beta tester!
You’ve been directed here because either someone from our company, or someone whose opinion we respect, thinks you are a smart person who can help improve our data matching service, which is code-named Freebird. You understand business and the importance of good technology and, like us, you’re always trying to find a way to do things better. You may have also found your way here through one of the many web sites that keeps you informed and ahead of your colleagues. Well, this is where they are going. To Freebird. And again, you are ahead of everybody else. So please read over this agreement and fill out the registration form below.
What exactly does Freebird do?
Freebird provides business users with a convenient solution to compare, combine and dedupe data- without having to rely on IT. For example, a powerful feature of Freebird is the ability to quickly and easily remove duplicates from a large list of data (ie., a mailing list). We’ve discovered that many of our clients who maintain large mailing lists often have multiple entries for the same person, but with slight inconsistencies in the data, which prevents traditional comparison tools from flagging them as duplicates. These duplicates not only pollute the data, but also cause the client to incur additional mailing and printing costs each time they use the list. Freebird’s TeraMatch® technology utilizes a scoring system to match data more effectively, compared to traditional matching techniques that can only match data that is identical.
What do you need me to do?
As a beta tester, you will be a key source of comments, suggestions and feedback. To ensure that Freebird is the best it can be, it's important that you understand what we need from you before registering for the program.

We request that you use the product at least once a week throughout the entire beta testing period, which will last six weeks.

Report your experiences weekly, both positive and negative, in the Beta Forums. Include problems with the product, suggestions for improvement, feature requests and other “wish list” items.

Be available for phone interviews if necessary. We may need to speak to you to gain clarity on the feedback that you provide.
